1. What we collect about the child
Nothing is required. You can use the service without telling us anything at all about the child.
If you choose to, you can add two pieces of information, both optional: the child’s first name and the age range (for example 3-5, 5-7, 7-9, 9-12). The age range helps us match the tone of the story; we do not ask for the exact date of birth.
2. What we do not collect
We never collect the following about the child:
- the full name
- the address
- the phone number
- photos or images of the child
- the voice or audio recordings
- the precise location
3. Who has access
Data about the child belongs to your parent account. Only you have access to it through your account; we do not share it with other users and we do not sell it.
The data is stored encrypted. The child’s first name, if you add it, stays in your account and is used only within the app interface.
The child’s first name is not sent to the language models that generate the stories. Generation starts from the theme you choose, the universe and the target age, and the story’s characters are the universe’s fixed characters (Mimi, Lupi and the others), not the child. So the child’s first name never reaches the models.
4. The parent’s rights
As a parent or legal guardian, you exercise the rights on the child’s behalf:
- access to all of the child’s data
- complete erasure of the child’s data
- portability: on request, by email at [email protected], you receive the child’s data in a commonly used format; stories can be exported as PDF directly from the app
- restriction of processing
5. How to delete the data
You can delete the child profile directly in the app: settings, then account, then delete. Deleting the account permanently removes the child profile and the associated stories.
You can write to us at any time at [email protected] and we will handle the request.
6. GDPR-K and COPPA
We treat children’s data in line with the General Data Protection Regulation, with the special care required by Recital 38, which recognises that children deserve enhanced protection of their data. Our principle is minimisation: we collect as little as possible, ideally nothing.
The service is intended for parents, not children: the child has no account and does not interact with the app directly. Where rules such as COPPA (United States) apply, our approach of data minimisation and parental control meets the requirements on children’s data. We do not collect data from children without the parent’s involvement.
7. Contact
