The mountain wolf family
A family of wolves in the mountain forest. Lupi is the little one, curious, with a white star on her forehead. Lula is her mother, gentle, with a crescent-moon pendant. Lalu is the father, a craftsman, with a rope at his belt. Codru is the youngest, the pup with a paw-shaped collar. They live among the rocks and pines, alongside marmots, deer, hedgehogs and ravens.

Lalu put a log on the fire and watched the flame settle. Lupi, with her moss-green scarf, pressed her ear to the door. And then a small, trembling sound came through, one that was asking for help.”
